Gary, Indiana-based AFC Transport recently announced that Kyle Ingraham has joined the
company as president of the logistics division, a new business unit within AFC Transport. The addition of this business unit within the company was sparked by substantial growth within the last year and the desire to keep that momentum going.
Ingraham joins a transportation company that began XX years ago in Forest Park, Illinois as a small shipping company. The certified minority woman-owned company has continued to grow into a large nationwide-hauling operation, but has kept the family culture that it has had since its inception.
Says Kate Minasyan, president of AFC Transport, “Throughout our growth, we have continued to uphold the highest standards in the shipping industry: safety, productivity, and reliability.”
With the addition of Ingraham to the executive team, his focus will be on expanding services with a revenue growth goal of $300MM in 3 years. In order to do this, Ingraham says, “We will invest heavily in technology, not to replace humans, but instead to make our employees more effective and create efficiencies for our customers.” This will lead to a better organization for the employees and customers – a win-win.
Throughout his career in transportation, Ingraham has been involved in all aspects of the business from sales to operations to recruitment, with a focus on customer acquisition and retention, as well as streamlining processes.
“Kyle’s past experience with scaling and growing sales and operations’ teams to execute at a high level of customer service is exactly the asset we need here at AFC,” says Minasyan. “He can help us strategically grow our office footprint and revenue as we execute on our business plan.”
Part of that business plan is to expand outside of Oak Brook, Illinois by finding the right people throughout the country and developing the business in those areas.
Originally from Connecticut, Ingraham has moved around the United States from the northeast to southwest and points in between. With young children growing fast, Ingraham is looking to settle down to raise his family.
“I’m excited to be here and be a part of the AFC Transport family,” says Ingraham. The AFC Transport family feels the same about him.
